Privacy policy – "Sal-Shave – cart loader" extension

Last updated: 8.10.2026

What it does

The extension loads the basket you picked in a comparison on sal-shabe.com into the cart of the supermarket's website, in your own account and your own browser. That is its single purpose.

Data it uses

• The list of products to load: product code (barcode or the chain's code), quantity and name (only to show progress). It comes from your comparison page on Sal-Shave.
• On the supermarket's site, it uses the session that already exists there (the site's cookies and token) to add the products to the cart, exactly as if you pressed "add" yourself.

What it does not do

• It does not collect, store or send personal data, passwords, payment details, browsing history or page content — not to Sal-Shave and not to anyone else.
• It does not pay or place orders: you review the cart and pay on the supermarket's site.
• It only runs on sal-shabe.com and on the supermarket sites listed in its permissions.
• It does not sell or transfer data to third parties and does not use it for advertising.

Local storage

While loading, it keeps the product list and the progress in the browser's temporary storage (chrome.storage.session) so it can continue if the supermarket page reloads. It is deleted when loading ends, or when you close the tab or the browser.

Permissions

• storage – for the temporary storage described above.
• Access to the supermarket sites (Rami Levy, Shufersal, Hatzi Hinam, Tiv Taam, Carrefour, Victory, Keshet Teamim, Express Mehadrin, Yochananof, Shuk HaIr, Machsanei HaShuk) – to add the products you picked to the cart.
• sal-shabe.com – to receive the basket you picked and return the loading summary.
